i. phox & damaris
He had saved her. Swept her up from the rain like a savior in disguise. And forever, she would be grateful to this boy. This selfless boy named Phox. When Phox brings her home to his extravagant place, she is then taken in as a servant to his father. Damaged and destroyed, she is beaten and tortured cruelly by this boy's dad. He is seemingly oblivious, and over time, he starts to change for the worse. Slowly tormented by his parents' sudden deaths and the demons inside of him, he enters the Hunger Games in hope that he will find something else to live for.
ii. phox & alaska
The monastery was always dimly lit, with the cries and screams of little children decorating the halls. These two children were simple known as Phox and Alaska. Having been sold to perform numerous torture experiments on them by the priests, they endure this everlasting pain. That is, until they escape. Phox has Alaska threaten the priest, allowing her to escape while he is held for two more years. When Alaska is sent to an asylum, having been deemed crazy by the Peacekeepers, she is shocked to see a familiar face...
iii. phox & emilia
She was the girl from District Nine, raised by the hands of a very strong Mayor. When Phox Calestro rolls into town, things start to change. Within a blink of her eye, they are courting, and next, her father dies under mysterious circumstances. Wanting to investigate, Emilia goes on a goose chase for her murderer, unaware that Phox, the man who is helping her, is her father's killer. When all is revealed, he leaves in the middle of the night. The Hunger Games roll around, and with Phox as a tribute, Emilia volunteers to avenge her father's death.
iv. phox & ariel
The Games are nothing but cruel amusement for Capitol citizens. For Ariel and Phox, they are a matter of life and death. Having been sent into the Hunger Games, Ariel enters with her brother as her only ally, and the deadly Career pack on their tail, Phox Calestro leading the bandits in a chase that never seems to end.
